Purpose: Serve as goodwill Ambassadors to promote patronage of Amtrak
 
Most volunteers have an interest in trains (not mandatory however)
 
Must enjoy meeting people. You will have
an opportunity to meet people from all over the world.

Training program provided by the association.
 
3 Shifts available: Morning/afternoon/evening. Must serve at least 1 day a month or more.
 
Hosts' who exceed 100 hours of service during the calender year receive a free round trip, on Amtrak anywhere in California.
  
Annual meeting held every January
in Sacramento.
